Natasha Veselinovic was our Musical Theatre teacher and is currently performing in the International Touring Cast of Les Miserables.
Natasha is an experienced, passionate performer who has both trained, and tread the boards in Australia and the UK. In 2010 she took the opportunity to travel to Devon and study Shakespeare. During that time, she performed in various Shakespeare works (most notably Richard, in “Richard III”), and the Exeter Fringe Festival (with “The Messiah”).
Since her return to Australia, Natasha has completed two performance degrees – most recently, a Bachelor of Musical Theatre (Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University). Some of her theatre credits include, Woman 2 (“35mm: A Musical Exhibition” – original Australian Cast), The Witch (“Into The Woods”), Ronny (“Hair”), and Edith (“The Wishing Well”). She has also been fortunate enough to play a part in developing new theatre works, including, “Ladies in Black” (Queensland Theatre Company), and “Spark” (Megan Shorey). In addition to performing in musical and straight theatre works, Natasha toured with Griffith University’s Uni-Reach program for many years – an Applied Theatre Project created to increase opportunities for high school students to attend university. Natasha was most recently seen on stage at the Brisbane Powerhouse, performing the role of Ursula in “Villains” – a show she co wrote, as part of the Short+Sweet Cabaret Festival.
